In shortGoogle keeps test versions for the members of a group. Join the testers group, accept to become a tester on the Play Store, then install Pistonbook like any other app. To leave the beta, leave the group.

Join the testers group
On the group page, tap "Join group". Your address is only visible to the developer, and you will not receive any email.

Tap "Become a tester". If the page says the app cannot be found, wait a few minutes after step 1, then try again.

The app then shows up on the Play Store, like any other. To leave the beta, simply leave the group.

Testers' questions
Is the Pistonbook beta free?
Yes. The beta is free and open to everyone, on Android. Everything that runs on the phone will stay free. Sync is free for life for beta users: just create your Pistonbook account before the beta ends.
What happens to my data when the beta ends?
It stays on your phone: the public version replaces the test version without erasing anything. You can also make an encrypted backup, as a file or online.
How do I give feedback on Pistonbook?
Shake your phone in the app: a "Write to the developer" page opens with a screenshot. You can also write to contact@debirumans.fr, in English or French.
Is Pistonbook available on iPhone?
Not on the App Store yet, but the web version installs on the home screen from Safari: Share, then "Add to Home Screen".
How do I leave the beta?
Simply leave the testers group. Your data stays on your phone as long as you do not uninstall the app.
