In shortPistonbook only shows what matters to your two-wheeler: the chain, front and rear tyres, winter storage, the helmet.

The chain

Chain care, without thinking about it

The bike's home screen tells you when to lube and when to adjust. One tap on "Done" after a ride, and the count starts again.

What changes for a motorcycle

  • Front and rear tyres: each tracked on its own, with its age
  • Winter storage: the bike is in the garage, mileage reminders wait
  • Power restrictor: fitted then removed, it all stays in the history
And everything else

Just like a car

Servicing and mileage, invoices read from a photo, running costs, a fill-up in two seconds and a PDF service history for when you sell.

FAQ

Motorcycles in Pistonbook

How do I remember to look after my motorcycle chain?

For a chain-driven bike, Pistonbook suggests lube reminders (every 300 miles or 500 km) and adjustment reminders (every 600 miles or 1,000 km), to fine-tune for your bike. Once done, one tap is enough: the reminder restarts from today's mileage and the history keeps every job.

How does winter storage work?

Put the bike into winter storage: mileage reminders are paused while it is off the road, date reminders (insurance, MOT) keep running. When you take it out, everything starts again.

I log my fill-ups in Fuelio: can I bring everything over?

Yes. Make a backup in Fuelio (.zip file) or export the bike as CSV, then pick that file in Pistonbook: fill-ups, services, costs and active reminders come across. Choose "Motorcycle" as the vehicle type when importing.
